Painting and Drawing Lessons

I strive to teach children to draw and paint using classical techniques, drawing from the old masters. The goal is to give children a strong foundation that they can use to paint whatever subject matter interests them. They will also learn about the masters and their techniques so that they may use what they learn from them to improve their art.

Heather recieved her education from Syracuse University with a Bachelors degree in Design and The Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she recieved her Masters in Fine Arts for painting and illustration. She has extensive experience teaching children in pre-school and afterschool programs as well as helping often in her 8 year old sons classroom and schoolwide.

Adult lessons are also available upon request.

Lessons are private in my studio, rates are $35 an hour for 1 student. $55 for 2 students, $70 for 3 students. There is a 3 student maximum per class.
